Middlesbrough Mencap Society is a support organisation for people with learning disabilities and their carers, affiliated to the Royal Mencap Society .

Our Activities

• We are represented on the Open Partnership in Middlesbrough, formerly the Partnership Board.
• We produce a bimonthly newsletter full of information and contacts for parents and carers, (and one for Gateway Members on the alternate months).
• We organise a Christmas party every year, and trips out and other activities during the summer holidays. .
• We have this Web site
• We organise training courses.
• One of our major fund-raisers is our Christmas Catalogue, we can supply you with a wide range of cards, gifts, and wrapping paper.
• All our income is spent locally.
