This is our new title for the old partnership board which has run for a few years. We all felt that we needed to make changes, good, positive changes to the format of the meetings.

The Open Partnership is a way of finding out from many statutory bodies (social services, health authority, Shaw Trust, NHS trust, CAB and others including ourselves) and most importantly carers, parents and service users themselves, what they want and need.
Some service users have attended meetings and made very positive statements demanding their equal rights!!
The meetings are open to all and everyone who has attended has quickly realised the shortfall of not previously including service users to the meetings. Please note: the service users are not there to make up the numbers, they have to feel a part of the group.
When something we all feel is very important comes up, we will have an open forum.
