The Gazette ran a Community Awards Presentation. Debbie had nominated Middlesbrough Gateway Club for Best Community Group. There were nine groups put forward and three were picked out to go to the final round including us. The awards night was on Friday 21st November at the Swallow Hotel in Stockton. Unfortunately, we did not win but the name of Gateway was well known by the end of the night. Debbie went with her husband Peter and George with his wife Jackie.
