December 2004: The members of Corus Teesside Works Employees Charity Fund have for the third year running made a Christmas bonus donation to us of £1,000 which, as always, was gratefully received.
May 2004: A special thank you goes to Shirley Spenceley who raised over £1,000 as a result of an embroidery exhibition held at Pinchinthorpe Country House on 3 May. The money was divided between ourselves and Northallerton Mencap as many of the members of Shirley's embroidery class come from that area. The embroidery exhibits were all worked by Shirley and the members of her classes, which are held at the hotel on Mondays and Wednesdays. More than 600 people visited the exhibition with everyone being very impressed with the quality of the work. Well done everyone and great big thank you from us.
December 2003: The members of Corus Teesside Works Employees Charity Fund have yet again made a Christmas bonus donation to us of £1,000 which, as always, was gratefully received.
November 2003: Our grateful thanks go to the members of the Charities Committee at Uniqema Limited who donated £200 towards the purchase of a flat screen monitor for our computer suite. Our computer monitors are reaching the end of their useful life and this will be a very welcome addition and take up much less space!!
We also thank those people who donate a few pounds at a time. Your help is greatly appreciated.
And an extra special Thank You to all our volunteers who turn up week after week for no tangible reward.
