This site uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), which are intended to separate layout issues from content. Unfortunately, various browsers sometimes interpret the same CSS in wildly different ways. If you find this site difficult to read, please contact us with details of the problem, your Operating System and Browser version.
IE5.0 sometimes positions the navigation area over the main text. Refreshing, or resizing the window slightly usually cures it.
If you are using a browser older than Netscape 5.0 or Internet Explorer 5.0, you are unlikely to see any of the CSS effects, even if your browser does claim to be CSS compliant. This is because these old browsers have serious problems with interpreting the positioning information, so we have used a method which they will ignore completely. These browsers, and those that do not support CSS at all, will display the content of this web site in the colours, font-faces, and sizes set as your browser's defaults, with minimal formatting. Navigation menus will appear as simple bulletted lists at the bottom of the page.
